Season 4 of the SongWalk Echoes Podcast focuses on six faith dynamics observed in the Lord's Prayer.

Join Don Prisby and Jeff Peterson in exploring:

• Vocation - That we are called into relationship with the Father and with one another.
• Conversion - That we turn to the Father who is both "in heaven" and is intimately near.
• Mission - That in bringing about the "kingdom," we walk toward the Father, declare Mary's radical yes, and commit to a life of Beatitude.
• Transformation - That in orienting to goodness, we transform "earth as it is in heaven."
• Providence - That we yearn for the Father's providence in being at table with Him, freed of our sins, in healing one another, and in being protected from evil.
• Gratitude - That in gratitude, we live as to make His Kingdom known, His Will followed, and His name glorified.

"Let's take a SongWalk!"

Abstract:

"Our Father, who art in heaven."  "Vocation" is implicitly inferred as we utter these words.  We are called into filial relationship with the Father.  At the same time, we recognize our relationship with one another as church.  We are called to the Father who, as Pope Francis remarks, is so very close to us.

Abstract:

"Thy Will be done, on earth as it  is in Heaven."  Here, we are called to the "transformation" of ourselves and of the earth.  Francis, Guardini, and the Catechism call us to turn toward the Father, to declare a radical yes as did Mary and to live a life of Beatitude.

Abstract:

"For Thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory now and forever, Amen."  Here in gratitude, we imagine that it would be that the Kingdom would be known, His Will be known and that His name would be hallowed.  We give our ascent to this ethic of living as sons and daughters of the Father in lives of "gratitude."
